24 April 2026

Interest in the climate impact of refurbishment and interior projects is growing. During Almedalen Week 2026, Hållbar Interiör will take part in the Byggekologi Foundation programme, highlighting how the industry can move towards more circular and data driven practices. Meet us on site and join our seminar.

Hållbar Interiör will be present during Almedalen Week 2026. Representing the initiative are Kristin Östberg, interior architect and CEO of Indicum Inredningsarkitekter, and Therese Löwstedt, Head of Sustainability, interior architect and partner at Indicum.

During the week, they will participate as speakers in the programme hosted by the Byggekologi Foundation, focusing on how to reduce climate impact in construction and develop more resource efficient approaches.

The seminar “Who takes responsibility for the climate impact in refurbishment projects?” is organised in collaboration with Prodikt, where Carsten Svensson, Head of Market Development, will also participate. The seminar takes place at Hamnplan, location 214, on Wednesday 24 June at 14.00 to 15.00.

Together, we will address questions of responsibility, governance and practical approaches to reducing climate impact in refurbishment projects, from early decision making to implementation. This perspective is closely linked to Hållbar Interiör’s work to develop structured methods for reducing the climate footprint of interiors, with a focus on reuse, climate data and circular processes.

Hållbar Interiör is developed in close collaboration with industry stakeholders and aims to establish a shared standard for sustainable interiors. The work includes the HI label, a climate database for furniture, and the digital tool Hint, supporting the process from analysis to verification.
