Earlier this autumn, Hållbar Interiör visited ASSAR Circular Labs in Skövde, where we were interviewed by Victoria Korth about how our work can help make circular choices easier in both the interior design and manufacturing industries. The visit became an opportunity to meet around a shared question: How do we lower the thresholds for circularity in practice?
ASSAR Circular Labs is part of the Innovationsboost project, which brings together small and medium-sized manufacturing companies, academia and experts to strengthen innovation in areas such as circularity, resource-efficient production and digitalisation. At ASSAR Circular Labs there is an exhibition environment consisting of several modules. Each module presents concrete transition opportunities, best-practice examples and support for companies aiming to develop circular products and processes.
In the module “Behavioural Change for Circularity”, Hållbar Interiör is highlighted as a particularly relevant example. Through the HI certification and the digital tool Hint, we demonstrate how visualisation, a structured workflow that promotes reuse in spaces and interiors, and clear criteria can make the sustainable choice easier. Not only for interior projects, but as a principle applicable to all sectors where materials, products and resources circulate.
