SOFT VALUES IN NEW LOGO

Hållbar Interiör has introduced a new logo, designed by graphic designer Jan Møller. By particularly emphasising the project's soft values, the logo has been designed to be not only a visual representation, but also a powerful symbol of the project's core values and vision. There is no other eco-label for the inside of premises, the interior, and it is therefore crucial for the industry that Hållbar Interiör gets the impact it needs to make a real difference in society and the green transition.

IMPLEMENTATION OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL FOR SUSTAINABLE INTERIOR DESIGN AT KONSTFACK AND HDK VALAND

The introduction of education in sustainable interior design is essential to meet current and future needs for sustainable development in the interior design industry. Educational material has been developed through the research project Hållbar Interiör, in collaboration with RISE. The material, which will become part of the course offerings at schools in autumn 2023, consists of five separate modules through which students learn about sustainable material choices, energy efficiency, recycling, circular economy and healthy interiors.

During spring, pilot tests have been launched where participating parties test and evaluate the criteria and possibilities of the certification in practice. The certification will constitute a significant marker for sustainability in the commercial real estate and interior design industry and serve as an incentive for stakeholders to take measures to reduce the environmental impact of their premises both in operation and when there is a change.
