Decisions about how premises are used, energy, interiors and furnishings affect both resource use and climate impact. The HI label brings these areas together in a common framework and enables the organisation’s work with its premises to be assessed against established criteria.
The HI labelling process begins with the organisation deciding which premises are to be included and examining how the criteria are currently addressed. By involving the relevant functions, assessing the current situation and identifying the necessary supporting information, the organisation creates a clear basis for the continued work and forthcoming verification.
